My character reference sheet for 's Winter Bash and also a reference for 's Winter Ball.

I plan and hope to participate in both and will be using my Winter Bash audition as a Winter Ball entry. This was just to get the real look of Axen in her new winter outfit and the kind of presence she'll have now.

Now, onto the comic. That one is still in progress and will be for a while, so hang tight. I hope to finish it in time for the due date. Wish me luck.

I decided to put in some head turns so people can really see what the scars on her face look like (I've noticed anyone who has ever drawn Axen has gotten them wrong because I always have reference that has her hair covering her face. x.x Well no more!)

Well really just a tid bit of information, the pattern on her top is of owls, which in Japanese culture could mean different things. An Eagle Owl was considered by the Ainu people as a divine ancestor. The Screech Owl was to warn against misfortune, and the Barn Owl and Horned Owl were considered demonic... What kind of owls are on Axen's sleeves, hmmmm????

***UPDATE AGAIN!****
I decided to show what Axen would look like when she would strip away the cumbersome Hakama and Geta. She would only get rid of those if the fight were very serious and she needed the extra dexterity. However, in every battle Axen ties back her hair using her tail braid (as depicted in the sketch). She would also, if given the chance, roll up the sleeves of her kimono and tuck them under the ropes that hold her sword to her back. So yeah... Comic still in progress... jeezzzz.
